11/29/10 AM

Yesterday was not too productive a day for me.  I worked a lot, but didn't seem to get much done.  Steve and I went to Jefferson City, because he wanted to eat out at someplace not in Rutledge.  We also went by Lowe's, his favorite store.  All I got was some mirror clips.  He bought some OSB for the bedroom floor in my Hut.  He got it put in last night, after I had caulked all the seams around the floors and up the walls.  I then cut and installed some acoustical tile ceiling material on the back wall for insulation.  That camper is as drafty as a chicken coop.
I want to get him to cut some plexiglass to make storms for the windows, but I don't know if he'll have the time while he's home this time.  There's never enough time for my projects.
I've got all the trim down in the bedroom, and discovered that the ceiling is just laying up there in many places.  I squeezed a lot of silicon caulk into the seams, and then run a screw into the paneling, and hung heavy items on the screws to hold the ceiling in place until the caulk sets.
We've decided on carpet for the bedroom area, as we plan to put the tanning bed there.
There were two holes in the floor, which the seller had cleverly disquised by putting metal plates over them and covering the whole mess with carpet.  I repaired them, and we put the OSB over the whole floor.  I'll still have to crawl up under the camper and insulate from underneath.
Lynn was having a flare, and could hardly get off her bed all day.
I have to keep going all the time, whether I feel well or not.
It was really getting cold last night when I came in the house.
Steve's having a hard time with his Christmas lights....they've rusted.
I guess there's something to be said for taking them down every few years.
