Yesterday was a grey, rainey day almost all day. The sun came out briefly just before going down last evening.
I slept really late, until about 10:00, because I had taken Lyrica, again. I'm just useless with that medicine. Steve had a bad night, too, but he was up before I was.
I met Barbara at the Down Home for their Thanksgiving lunch. It was really good. They had deep-fried their turkey. The sweet potato caserole was fab.
I took a ceramic hat I had finished by the Family Dollar to show the ladies who work there. They had seen it when I bought it at a flea market, and they wanted to see it after I finished it. They all loved it.
I came home and changed into work clothes, which I call 'scrungies', and went out to work in my hut. Steve found an old chest of drawers out in the barn which had come from the old house at Shannon's church that I'm tearing down, and suggested that I use it for storage. It fits perfectly under the counter for the kitchen sink. I cleaned it up, let the drawers dry, and put white contact paper in the bottom of the drawers. It will make things look lighter.
I then started sorting things and putting them away, to make room to clean and insulate the bedroom area. It was piled up pretty badly with doll houses and material, so I had a lot to do. It took longer because I was sorting the people and animals that I use, and putting them into the drawers in the little chest Steve found for me.
I was just working along, and glanced out the window to find that it was dark outside. I had been working for a longer time than I expected. Time flies when you're having fun, I guess.
I got quite a bit of clearing out done, and I'm going to try to get the room completely cleaned today, so I can get it finished. Then, I'll have to move all the stuff out of the living room and kitchen area and start on them. Work Work Work!
I didn't want any supper, so I just ate a couple slices of bread, so my stomach wouldn't get upset when I took my night time meds. I took a really hot bath and got ready for bed. I painted a little on a peacock figurine I'm working on, and then went to bed. I did not sleep well, but Steve didn't either. I don't know what's keeping us up.
This morning, the rain's gone, and it's looking to be a beautiful day. They say cold weather is coming for this week-end. I dread that.
