The pin pains have already started in spades.
I'm in constant agony, and there's no help. How do you take a pain pill to make a bee sting not hurt when it's not yet started? They come so unexpectedly and suddenly, and hurt so badly.
I got up about 5:00, because I hadn't slept at all throughout the night.
I got ready for today, I thought.
Otto had told me the other day that he wanted some trees cut, so when Ronny came today, I asked him if he had a chainsaw to cut the trees. He brought his chainsaw, and I went with him up to the trailer to show him the trees I wanted cut. I then came back down to the house to finish unloading the truck. I was still at it when Ronny came back to say that Otto demanded he have ropes to cut the trees, when all they were doing was falling to the driveway. He has cut trees for years, and he really knows what he's doing.
I had to stop and hunt for ropes, and that set me off.
I'm over (SO over) having to manage EVERYTHING and not knowing where things are to work with.
Then Marti, Ann Cameron's daughter, came up the driveway to tell me that a relative had been burned out this morning, and that they needed EVERYTHING.
I called Barbara to see if she had any clothes or shoes for the woman, as they are the same size. Barbara's things are still in her burned out house in Blaine (three months).
I told Barbara thanks, anyway. She called back three times.
I had Marti in the driveway, Ronny up in the trees at the trailer, Otto being his usual self, and I needed to be unloading the truck.
I told Marti I'd just have to get back with her on things for the needy family, and asked her to look around the yard and just see if she didn't think I needed a little help.
She had to allow that I sure did.
I swear to God I'm going to throw a certain computer over the bluff.
Maybe someone with it. Nothing gets done around her unless I do it or hire someone else to do it.
When Ronnie finished cutting the trees (and cutting them up and cleaning up the driveway), we took his chain saw home, and had a quick sandwich with Amy. We finally got on the road to Knoxville around 1:00.
We got to the church and started loading styrofoam insulation and the siding that was left. It was a full truck load by the time we finished and got started back to Rutledge. It was also getting dark. We had worked all afternoon, with only a short break to take some coats to Colonial Cleaners and get a soft-serve cone at the Freezo on Central.
Ronnie wanted me to come in a visit with Amy for a short while. No problem there, except that I was so dirty. Amy is so neat with everything.
They've done wonders with Evelyn's house.
I left there and went up the Family Dollar to see Joan for a few minutes. She wasn't there, so I visited with Elaine and her daughters for a while. Those girls are really sweet. While I was there, the time change fooled them, and they brought in their sidewalk items and started to close an hour early. We all had a good laugh over that. I even called Joan at home and told her about it.
I then left and came home, took a bath and washed my hair, and started the endless night-time meds.
The Lortabs have been making me nauseated and really dizzy.
I just took half a dose.
I talked with Barbara for a while.
I really need to get some sleep tonight.
That dumb bastard in the White House has now gone to India and made ANOTHER aly mad at us.
